Boylston Fall Fest
The Boylston Fall Fest was one of Cord & Oak’s best markets in 2023, and we’re looking forward to returning this year! Cord & Oak will be doing a live demo of Shaker box making.
The event will be held on the common, across the street from the First Congregational Church, 10 Church St.

Ashland Farmers Market
Kicking off the new farmers market season at Ashland Farmers Market! In addition to the smaller Shaker boxes and charcuterie boards I’ve had in years past, this year I’m adding Shaker carriers, live edge walnut table centerpieces, some live edge walnut tables, and a new thing I’ve invented I call “Pixie Stools.” Come on out and visit on a lovely Ashland Saturday morning!
Pre-Thanksgiving Ashland Farmer’s Market
Come on out to Cord & Oak’s last (as far as I know) public sales event of the year, the Pre-Thanksgiving Ashland Farmer’s Market! Our very first public event was at this exact venue one year ago, so we’re expecting this one to be a fun reprise and a great capstone to 2023. I’ll have my current stock on display and have some new charcuterie boards in the works to bring as well.

Join me at Cord & Oak’s first farmers market of 2023 for the Marlborough Farmers Market. I’ll have a variety of my Shaker boxes on hand, as well as a surprise sampling of some other things I’ve been working on over the last few months.
Display at Ashland Public Library
Come see my work in person and learn a little about the history and craft of making Shaker boxes, on display at the Ashland Public Library. You can find the display case off to the right from the main circulation desk. On display are several painted boxes of various sizes, a couple unpainted cherry boxes, and a fixed handle cherry carrier. I’ve also included information on how the boxes are made, including a display of a bending form and shapers.
